“It still seems to shock society’s shallow prejudices that a woman who enjoys beauty and fashion and takes pleasure in presenting herself as best she can is also more than capable of being ambitious, hardworking and intellectual.
“As a society we are encouraged to strive for impossible standards of beauty, yet in reality when one enjoys the process of getting ready and putting effort into their appearance they are then cast aside as unintelligent, as though to be accepted as aesthetically beautiful is then to be condemned as stupid without valid reasons.
“Society is still too quick to judge people by the way they look, and not by their actions, merit and character; a limit still placed upon young people today.”
